About me

I think these little bio paragraphs are a little awkward. I mean, how can I really sum up who I am and why I am a photographer within a few sentences. It's near impossible! However, I'll give a crack at it.

Hey, y’all! My name is Analicia and I was born and raised in Texas but have traveled all over as a military brat and eventually a military wife. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 12 years and am the mom to two boys with big personalities! I also love spa dates with my husband (shhhh, don’t tell him I put that picture up), playing with my kids, and long walks on the beach……. but we just moved from San Diego, California to Fort Lee, Virginia, so no beaches for me!

Whew, now that we have that over with….I think it's really important to establish a great relationship with your photographer -- therefore, I'll tell y'all about my passions in life and how I came into photography.

I’ve always loved taking pictures since I was a child. In high school, I took my first photography class and absolutely loved working in the darkroom and seeing my photos come to life right beneath my fingertips! I mostly stuck to landscape photography, but I broke into the portrait world last year and haven’t looked back since! I believe every photographer is different and sees the world through a different lens and I am able to use my experiences and perspectives on life and place them within my art work. I am able to leave my print in the world. I am able to capture the little moments, moments that people overlook and give them a meaning - a story.

I love being able to capture moments for my clients and whenever I show them their session – seeing their reaction, their joy, the emotions... that is why I love being a photographer.

Success! Message received.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place.. I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.- Elliot Erwitt
